Hope you are doing great, Job Title: SharePoint/WEB Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA Locals preffered Duration: 3-6 Months This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER to join the team responsible for successful implementation of Web Content Management Publishing site in SharePoint 2010. Job Summary Primary responsibilities include developing, enhancing and maintaining Web Content Management Publishing sites in SharePoint 2010. Additionally developing internal and external web based .NET applications; and daily support and maintenance of existing web based applications. The Web Developer has the opportunity to take responsibility for all phases of a development project and help formulate best practices. We develop in C# using Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server 2010, SQL Server 2005/2008 and SharePoint 2010; and are undertaking several large migrations of current sites to SharePoint 2010. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop corporate Internet, Intranet and Extranet sites using SharePoint 2010. Develop .NET web applications with Visual Studio 2010 (.NET 4.0), ASP.NET/C#, <http://asp.net/C#,> JQuery, AJAX, Silverlight, SQL Server 2008 and/orSharePoint 2010. Develop site layout from design comps and wireframes to function across several web browsers and operating systems. Integrate and extend existing .NET web application with current SharePoint 2007/2010 corporate internet / intranet sites. Enhance, maintain, and migrate existing MOSS 2007 sites to SharePoint 2010. Work with clients to gather business requirements and webpage design specification. Develop business / technical documentation for business and technical team respectively for sign-off before implementation. Track, troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Evaluate and prioritize development tasks for delivery to business in a professional and timely manner. Other technical tasks as needed for successful project completion. Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience with SharePoint 2007/2010, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0/SharePoint Foundation 2010 including custom web part development. 5+ years’ experience in web application development using ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>, C#, ADO.NET <http://ado.net/>, XML Web Services. 2+ years’ experience in JQuery, AJAX, Silverlight. 3+ years’ experience working with SQL Server 2005/2008 including database design, table creation and stored procedures. Strong knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, Web Services. Experience customizing, extending and deploying a Web Content Management Publishing site implementation. Experience using SharePoint Development Tools in Visual Studio 2010. Experience creating custom workflows and modify existing ones. Knowledge of SQL Server 2000/2005 including database design and stored procedures. Experience developing n-tier applications (UI, Business Logic Layer, and Data Access Layer). Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment and meet aggressive timelines set by clients. Ability to work independently and with a team on a project. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of the core development concepts in SharePoint Foundation 2010 is a plus. Experience with Records Management, Document Management and Digital Asset Management in SharePoint 2007/2010 is a plus. Experience developing InfoPath 2007/2010 forms accessing external data sources with multiple views and validation logic is a plus. Experience using LINQ for SQL Server and LINQ for SharePoint is a plus. Experience with HTML5 is a plus. Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and/or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is a plus. Financial services experience a plus.
