Position: Lead QA with SalesForce
Duration: Long term
Location: Lexington, KY
The candidate must have a solid understanding of and extensive
experience working within an Agile model. This candidate must be able
to communicate and collect requirements from a variety of individuals
across multiple locations. A mastery of both basic and complex QA
practices is required. The candidate must be able to address complex
enterprise applications and develop the necessary testing material to
ensure all aspects of the application are working accordingly. This
includes interfacing with other teams across system integrations to
ensure data flows are accurate.
The primary responsibilities of this position are as follows:
1. Interface with Project Management to develop the project’s overall
QA Plan as well as individual Test Plans per corporate standards. This
includes scheduling, risk analysis, as well as cost management.
2. Gather and ensure quality of business, use case, functional,
technical and design requirements for completeness and testability.
This will include signing off on the requirements and taking ownership
of the work to be then tested by the project’s QA team.
3. Development of comprehensive testing strategy and, if necessary,
materials for one or more enterprise application. Must be able to
interface with a variety of teams to ensure necessary resources are
available to accomplish the testing activities.
4. Anticipating the needs of the project to ensure the project has the
correct QA related resources at the right time. This includes people,
software, hardware, and any applicable licenses.
5. Perform a risk based analysis against the requirements to clearly
understand those areas of the system need to be prioritized during the
testing efforts.
6. Proliferate, educate and enforce corporate IT QA standard operating
procedures. This will include periodic project audits to ensure
compliance to standards.
7. Providing feedback to IT QA organization as well as the project
team on QA process improvements.
8. Monitor the execution of all testing activities required to ensure
system meets all system requirements as well as the end users
expectations including performance within the given schedule.
9. Ensure that any and all testing materials including manual,
performance, or load testing scripts are developed accurately and to
standards. This will include conducting reviews of the testing
materials to ensure correctness.
10. Establish an environment where communication between the project
QA resources and other project resources is facilitated smoothly and
effectively.
11. Ensure the necessary testing environments are installed and setup
appropriated to accomplish testing tasks.
12. Identification of those areas of the system that can be tested via
automated testing methods and ensure those materials are developed
appropriately.
13. Develop the reports that will be used to keep the Program/Project
and IT management up to date with the status of the project.
The qualified candidate will possess the following attributes:
1. Must have a minimum of 4 years of Salesforce.com project
implementation experience.
2. Must be highly motivated individual that demonstrates
responsibility and hard work.
3. Must possess a passion for Quality Assurance specifically in the IT
software/hardware environment.
4. Must have superior communication skills both written and oral.
5. Must be able to work diligently on assignments with minimal supervision.
6. Must be able to demonstrate they are trustworthy individuals
7. Must have a demonstrated pattern of excellence.
8. Must have an understanding of complex IT systems including
integrations between those systems.
9. Prefer experience with Quality Center v9.2 or later
10. Must have at least Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or
equivalent field, Master’s degree preferred.
11. Willingness to be located in the Central Kentucky region (not remote)
12. Experience with ECM applications, SAP, and OCR type software is a bonus.
