Experience working with data analytics, business intelligence, datawarehousing, statistics, forecasting, or business analytics is strongly preferred. - Combine strong leadership and project management skills to manage projects from inception to close and will have responsibility for the technical solution and business knowledge of a value chain. - You will coordinate resources, tasks, budgets and deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously. - Initiative planning, business objectives, metrics, scope, work plan, risk management, communications, and solution quality - Day to day management of projects, including task tracking, documentation, prioritization and schedule - Leading business process initiatives creating improvements in efficiency, cost, and customer satisfaction - Management of full lifecycle from concept to delivery - Management of schedule & budget for projects - Responsible for Project Communication’s plan, creating and distributing project information Must have: - 10+ years of experience as a named Project Manager - Experience with full project lifecycle management from inception to close - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously - Experience working on Business Analytics, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence or other similar projects is preferred, including working with DBAs, on-shore and off-shore resources from different time zones. - Life Insurance Industry experience is a plus - Experience in a matrix organization is a must. - Experience with multiple methodologies and approaches: Agile, Waterfall, Spiral, RUP, SDLC, or PMI - Experience working with PPM tools such as MS Project. - Previous experience as a technical Project Manager or consultant at multiple companies - Excellent communication skills with business users and technical team The above position is in Batesville, IN. Relocation or a combination of travel/remote work is an option. *Job Title:* Business Intelligence Solution Architect *Start Date:* 6/3/2013 *End Date:* 10/14/2013 *Location:*Batesville, IN, US *Qualifications:* - Provide Solution Architecture for a Data Warehouse migration project. - Work closely with the DW/BI team, the Enterprise Architecture team and the business SMEs to provide BI solution to meet the current and future needs of the business needs. - Provide technical solutions to the Data Management program from the inception to close. - Engage and consult with customers to gather customer requirements. - Define BI solutions that leverage capabilities to address the client needs. - Coordinate the efforts of internal subject matter experts to present client solutions. - Create project plans to execute the proposed solution. - Define BI framework. Must have: - 7+ years implementing enterprise DW/BI solutions in a complex environment. - Strong ETL & Data Architecture and modeling experience. - Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft’s SSIS, SSIS and SSRS is a must and Informatica and Cognos is a plus - Strong Leadership skills. - Ability to present solutions to the “C” level as well as the technical level. - Strong experience working across multiple database platforms (Oracle and SQL Server). - 3+ years lead strategy engagements and delivering ROADMAPs. - 5+ years of management consulting skills is required. - Experience in Insurance systems is a plus.
