*Description:*
We are looking for 2 senior Unix Admins, mostly for Solaris and Red Hat.
AIX would be a plus, as would SuSE. They will be used, initially, maybe
permanently, as backfill for staff that is doing project work. Therefore,
there will be lots of filesystem work and space allocation, so they would
need good experience with zfs, ufs and storage allocation using zfs,
Veritas VM and LVM on Linux. There will be SAN LUNs that need to be
connected to the servers and nfs filesystems to mount. Any Oracle Ops
Center or BMC BladeLogic would be very helpful, but is not required.
VMware is required in that we have many servers using it and we are
migrating more servers all the time. Experience with Sun T4 and T5220
architecture is required, as is experience with LDOMs and zones. Patching
and server upgrade experience is required, so experience with Red Hat
Satellite and Solaris lucreate will be required.
