Overall project execution from concept to production, including system testing, agency and production issue resolution as defined by these services: · Execute technical projects by monitoring project development(s) to reach optimum design, performance, quality, cost and appearance from concept to production start. · Provide technical direction and/or execute complex product design as required, as well as, detailed electronic design in electronics and firmware. · Analysis and integration of product designs and coordination necessary engineers to resolve design problems from initiation of assignment to release for production. · Create product requirement documents (PRD) for assignments and design complex systems requiring an advanced understanding of product system design, microcontroller(s), C / C++ coding. · Prepare Engineering/Mfg. Reports and presentations, evaluate results and recommendations. · Conduct meetings, track issues and issues resolution with team members, manufacturing, purchasing, vendors, and facilities as required achieving overall goals and schedules. · Prepare Engineering reports, evaluate results, and recommend courses of action. · Execute, track and resolve signature issues for Engineering Change Orders. · Prepare products and documentation for executing agency testing by researching standards. · Use PC and phone tools such as but not limited to Microsoft Office, MS Project, etc. for documentation. Quality Standards · All services completed must match the quality, format and information as defined by client policies and procedures for New Product Development into Manufacturing. Performance Specifications · Service Provider must meet scheduled dates in a fast-paced team environment with frequent tight deadlines. Billing · The billing for this Engineering Service shall be directly related to actual hours on service assignment(s). Billing frequency is monthly at the predetermined contract rate. Vendor to provide weekly time sheets itemizing the actual hours per project.
