Understanding of applications, graphical user interfaces or control languages. Understands specifications, designs logic, writes code, tests and debugs. Modifies, installs, and prepares technical documentation for applications. Technical resource skill and knowledge includes both basic and new technology experience, plus specific niche technology or product skills that are on the emerging market space. Additional Details This resource is going to be involved within ARS working on their financial systems applications. They have several Java developed screens in production. Since they lost their last resource about 3 months ago, several bugs have been found that need to be fixed. They need someone who will be able to respond to these issues quickly. They need to be able to get the testing done and get the code into production. They also have some screens written in ASP that need some tweaks. This person doesn’t necessarily need ASP experience because people on her team have been able to pick it up pretty easily. Some of these changes will be done in SQL. They need to know how a drop down box is populated as that is one of the items they are completeing. The manager also has a few apps written in an old version of Visual Basic. Due to changes with new technology throughout the company, they are going to be rewriting this in Java. They are stand alone screens and there are about 12-15 of them that will need to be rewritten. While in the testing environment, this person will need to be able to go into the VB screens and find out what needs are to be done. There is no documentation on these screens because they are 10 years old so not only is technical Java experience important but they need to be able to perform some analysis.
