*Position: Java Lead Developer*
*Location: Mountain View, CA & **Cary, NC*
*Duration: 6+ Months*
*Mandatory Skills:*
- Experience developing web application with Java, Hibernate, JSON, XML,
Restful-APIs (creating and consuming), JBOSS.
- Exposure developing web applications.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
*Desired Skills:*
- Exposure working in distributed team structure and Agile mode.
- Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Linux.
*Roles and responsibilities:*
- Experience in leading offshore based team.
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or
SOAP. Design, implement and maintain well defined API's that meet client's
needs.
- Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex
technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work with
Product Management and an Experience Design team to develop solutions that
delight customers
- Proficient with Java Experience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate
- Experience in developing n-tier enterprise applications
- Experience developing REST-ful API’s
- Experience with JSON and XML
- Experience with JBOSS
- Ability to establish priorities and work on multiple tasks
simultaneously
- Experience with Agile / Scrum, Continuous Integration.
- Identify and drive improvements to software and development processes
- Design and implement highly scalable and maintainable solutions
- Participate in peer design and code reviews
- Create and utilize automated unit tests to ensure quality of code.
