Responsibilities: The Healthcare IT group within TransUnion provides strategic engineering, quality assurance and technical support for TransUnion’s fastest-growing division—Healthcare. Java/J2EE Senior Developer role will focus on one of our strategic platforms -- Revenue Manager, a Revenue Cycle management suite of products. To excel this platform, we will be leveraging your knowledge in Java/J2EE technology, specifically EJB, Web Services, JMS, Spring, DB2 SQL or other similar technologies to develop new capabilities, enhance existing features, and work on future applications. Revenue Cycle applications are mission critical to our customer and require a high degree of quality in our development processes. The Team’s Focus • Analysis/Design: Analyze complex technical requirements and document design proposals to meet the requirements • Programming: Program in Java on IBM’s Websphere application server running on Linux and connecting to a DB2 database. Independently develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install complex software programs. Apply OO design patterns and programming techniques.
