*Oracle EPM consultant* *Duration: 6 months* *Location: Chicago IL* Principal Consultant (Oracle EPM including Hyperion Planning / HFM / Essbase / FDM) - Oracle BI Practice Responsibilities: • Lead the engagement effort at design stages from including business analysis, high level and detailed design. • Understand the requirements specifications and identify gaps between Hyperion Planning / HFM / Essbase functionality and the required functionality. • Design the solution based on the identified gaps and validate the design. • Ensure that the expectation has been set clearly regarding Hyperion tool’s capabilities and limitations to business users. • Liaise with transactional source teams to get information related to various attributes and entities to be exposed in the data warehouse. • Provide regular status update to all the stake holders regarding the status of the project highlighting any dependencies and risks in timely manner. Qualifications: • Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent qualification. • Management Degree an asset. • Around 8-10 years of work experience in IT project development with main focus on Hyperion Planning, HFM and Essbase • Excellent Financial Planning / Consolidation domain expertise with hands on experience on Hyperion Planning / HFM • Multiple full lifecycle implementations of EPM solutions including multiple applications like Hyperion planning / HFM / Essbase / FDM and around 12-15 years of working knowledge in Hyperion Products • Sound knowledge of Essbase principals (ASO and BSO) • Expertise in data migration and integration aspects pertaining to Financials implementation. • Proven track record in IT Consulting / Hyperion architecture / solution delivery. • Good understanding of IT delivery methodologies. • Exposure to the Service Industry domain an asset. • Excellent communication / presentation / verbal and written communication skills.
