*Position: System Engineer*
*Location: Portland, OR*
*Duration: 6 months+*
*Job Description:*
- Integrating third party system solutions based on *J2EE standards *into
the Intel environment and sustaining the delivered application(s).
- Installing and supporting *Windows, Apache Tomcat, Java, MS SQL
Server, IIS, SQL/NET HSM Encryption, SSL/HTTPS.*
- Working with virtual servers and partnering with hosting teams to
resolve environment issues.
- Scripting skills in several languages used in business computing (*Perl,
PowerShell, Batch).*
- Developing project plans, logical and physical design specifications
and architecture diagram.
- Being an escalation point for all L2 and/or L3 production support
resolutions.
- Should have knowledge of ITIL process like incident, problem and
change management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A track record of meeting commitments on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies related to business
computing including new development languages, networking, security and
others.
- Ability to work independently and in ambiguous conditions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including experience in influencing
others.
