Job Title: Guardium Implementation Engineer Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 6 month Contract or Contract to Hire (client would like FTE if possible) Client: Noridian Mutual Insurance Company Project Overview: The client is currently is engaged in fulfillment of a state Medicaid contract. The project supports multiple mission-critical application systems and their associated IT infrastructure. The scope of work includes systems and database administration and information security support. Securing network and databases between the client and federal agencies. Responsibilities: Serve as a leader within the Technology group and address the database security and compliance lifecycle, utilizing the Guardium technology. Configure the development of the prototype systems for data quality management, and the big data and information security/privacy solutions, utilizing Guardium. Customize, configure, and test the integrations between Guardium and other technologies. Automate the compliance auditing process and the report distribution to the oversight teams, sign-offs, and escalations for the data privacy. Assist with the location and verify the sensitive information in the client’s databases. Assess the database server and operating system vulnerabilities and configuration flaws. Provide guidance, recommendations, and best practices for the database security solution and operations. Technical Skills: 7-9 years of IT infrastructure design and network operations experience. Experience utilizing the IBM InfoSphere Guardium data security product and solutions. Extensive understanding one or more of the following Guardium-based solutions: Data Activity Monitoring, Vulnerability Assessment, Data Masking, Data Encryption, and Data Redaction.
