Microsoft Windows Clustering SME
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 1 Year

We are looking for a senior L3 level Microsoft Windows Clustering SA/SME.
The candidate must have worked in Large Enterprise clustering environment with 
advanced clustering skills

General feedback so far is most of these are all VMware centric resumes. Pls. 
focus on the following in the updated JD (refer below):
.    Advanced Clustering solution exp in Supporting large enterprise environment
.    5 to 7 years configuring, validating, implementing and troubleshooting 
Windows clusters (for both Win2003 and Win2008). Well versed with Cluster 
validation, builds, Cluster Service Configuration, Failover testing exercises 
etc. Experience with DR for Clusters: Node, cluster, and site recovery 
procedures
.    3 to 5 years installing, configuring and troubleshooting SAN disks using 
VERITAS Storage Foundation on Windows servers (standalone and clusters)

Windows profile requirement:

All these below competency required for Windows 2003 / 2008.
.    7 to 10 years of experience as a Windows operating system administer
.    5 to 7 years configuring, validating, implementing and troubleshooting 
Windows clusters (for both Win2003 and Win2008). Well versed with Cluster 
validation, builds, failover testing exercises etc. Experience with DR for 
Clusters: Node, cluster, and site recovery procedures.
.    5 to 7 years managing AD security, user rights, GPOs, role based security, 
local account and security policy.
.    5 to 7 years configuring, managing, restoring, and troubleshooting AD, 
system state, and data backups
.    3 to 5 years installing, configuring and troubleshooting remote SAN disks 
using Veritas Storage Foundation on Windows servers and clusters
.    3 to 5 years installing, configuring and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, and 
WINS services
.    3 to 5 years analyzing, managing, and responding to enterprise security 
events
.    3 to 5 years monitoring, managing, and optimizing server performance

Soft Skills:
.    Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
.    Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
.    Manage customer service interactions to insure highest quality customer 
service
.    Explain technical issue to non-technical clients without losing the 
technical essence
.    Responsible for resolving customer complaints on technical issues
.    Suggest improvements in the operations and processes to make the system 
foolproof.
.    Provide value added customer services by attending customer queries and 
issues.
.    Sound knowledge of Documentation.
.    Good Team player and Man management.

Preferred/Good-to-have skills:
.    Maintaining/Writing & troubleshooting scripts written both in PowerShell 
or using WMI scripting /VB.

VMware:
.    Experience in Installing, Configuring & Managing VMware ESX Servers
.    Experience in Installing, Configuring & Managing VMware Virtual Center 
Server
.    Experience in P2V in production environment
.    knowledge on HA and DRS
.    Deployment of Virtual Machines
.    Experience with ESX CLI / vSphere CLI
.    Troubleshooting Knowledge on VMware ESX Servers and Virtual Center Server

Compliance/SOX:
.    Experience conducting audits and ensuring adherence to the SOX, GCC 
Compliance
