Proficiency in modifying Linux kernel configuration file and build various flavors of Linux kernel from source. Proficiency in configuring Ethernet Local Area Networks - Configuring Switches and routers Familiarity with optimizing Linux Network parameters for optimal performance Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, ARP Experience in running Network and Storage benchmarks tests Able to demonstrate prior experience in environments where the candidate has read and learnt on how to install, configure and run new software systems. Proficiency in Python/Perl scripting language Familiarity with web servers, NAS like SMB and NFS Familiarity with Java programing language *Require Red Hat Certified system Administrator (RHCSA®) or equivalent skills; Prefer Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®) or equivalent skills.
