*Position: Sr .WebSphere Commerce Suite*
*Location: Chicago, IL*
*Duration: 4 Months +*
*Desired Skills: Websphere Commerce Admin*
*Job Description:*
- *3 years experience managing Websphere Commerce Server (WCS) on AIX or
Linux in a production eCommerce retail enviornment. AIX is preferred.*
- DB2 UDB back end database configuration support is preferred.
- *5 Years experience in managing Websphere Application Server (WAS) or
AIX or Linux in a production data center enviornment. AIX is preferred.*
- 3 years experience managing RedHat JBOSS in a production data center
enviornment highly desirable.
- 7 Years experience on AIX or similar UNIX.
- LInux experience is highly desireable as well.
- Strong experience with security administration, server performance
monitoring and tuning.
- Strong experience with configuring middleware systems (WAS, Oracle) in
a highly available and resilient configuration.
- Demonstrable Knowledge of UNIX operating system basics (disk. cpu, io
subsystems).
- Demonstrable Knowledge of IBM Hardware, speciifically pSeries, xSeries
and BladeCenters desirable.
- Experience with Sun Java Directory Server is greater than v5.3 or
RedHat Directory Server desirable.
- Unix Shell scripting experience is a must (bash, ksh, or perl).
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues with non technical people.
- Must be able to work some overtime and provide after hours support as
needed.
