JOB DETAILS Title - Healthcare IT - HL7 Consultants Duration: 6 Months Location: Work from Home This is a 100% remote position, however, the resources must be available for initial 2 - 4 weeks training in Yardley, Pa (expenses will be reimbursed). Once fully trained, they will be able to work from home. Must be qualified and articulate! Our client is seeking a dynamic, independent and motivated individual to fill the role of IT Consultant. The IT Consultant is responsible for managing the Health Information Exchange project details related to the successful delivery of the client's health information exchange (HIE). The IT Consultant supports the Implementation team in managing project details related to HIE Initial Go Lives, EHR Integrations, Continuity of Care Document Exchange, Data Feed Analysis and other HIE related projects. Candidate will support the rollout of the MobileMD product to the client customers All work will be done remote following the training Candidate will responsible to be highly effective communicators/self motivators given the role is remote Requirements: Strong experience with the HL7 development 3 to 5 years experience in .NET development or similar programming language (java, C++) Strong knowledge of Healthcare interfacing with HL7 Strong knowledge of SQL including writing queries and exploring database objects Advanced verbal and written communication skills (role is remote) The IT Consultant will support Implementation team and coordinate the expertise of the specialized MobileMD HIE teams Responsibilities: Act as the MobileMD technical expert in the capabilities and operation of the HIE and provide consultative services; Coordinate and provide all system infrastructure, and system configuration efforts in the establishment of an HIE including; Provide technical implementation, operation, application and configuration-related expertise; Provide technical expertise on the integration of EHR systems to the HIE; Act as the facilitator among the disparate vendors engaged in establishing an HIE; Coordinate and provide customer service to new and existing HIE clients; Provide status reports and project metrics for projects including but not limited to Design Documentation, Project Plans, Timelines, Document Maps, Compendiums and client configuration options; Qualifications include: Motivated 4+ years experienced team player. Will be an innovative, detail oriented self-starter that thrives in a small, fast-paced environment, as well as possess technical experience and skills; Experience with HL7 message standard, CDA and HIE Profile with HL/7 being the most important.
