Position Summary:
Looking for a Mobile Developer with iOS, Android and/or Blackberry experience.
Work within mobile applications development team in a major telecommunications
company. Participate in the creation of industry-leading Apps for
iOS/Android/Blackberry specific applications with an understanding and
capability to contribute various mobile and web platforms.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1.. Full life cycle iOS Mobile app development experience a must (excellent
knowledge of iOS, Objective-C, C/C++, Cocoa and iOS design patterns and
HTML5). Experience on Java and Web UI is a plus.
2.. Designs, architects, programs, tests, and documents iOS-based software
code. Will be responsible for coding various aspects of these projects,
including the UI, business logic, and data layers.
3.. Responsible for maintenance and modification of existing in-market
applications in addition to building new applications.
4.. Executes unit testing and debugs code to ensure quality of developed
applications.
5.. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Documents code
consistently throughout the development process on procedural and modular
levels.

executives/stakeholders is
7.. Follow all client set processes and at the same time provide guidance to
improve process whenever there is a need.
8.. Work in a scrum team and willing to meet all client set expectations.
Experience & Requirements
1.. Several (4+) years of professional coding experience with a focus on
mobile application architecture. Must have primary skills on iOS development
and secondary skills on Android and/or Blackberry development.
2.. A BS/MS in Computer Science or other related field
3.. Must have strong software design skills. Must be able to explain
applications/programs that they have designed, including tradeoffs they made
and why.
4.. Experience with other client-side technologies valuable but not required.
5.. Proven ability to function well in a team environment and to adapt/learn
new applications/technologies in a very short duration.
6.. Strong object oriented design and analysis skills. Applies effective
design patterns and best practices when coding. Strong coding architecture and
adhering to coding standards is a must.
7.. Multi-Threading and memory management specific to iOS devices,
understanding of data caching models.
8.. Demonstrable portfolio of iOS related applications and has previously
submitted iOS applications to the App Store.
9.. Expert knowledge of the software development life cycle and methodology

understanding of best practices for creating data-intensive, responsive iOS apps
11.. Understanding of how to integrate APIs within an iOS app
12.. Appreciation of Agile development methodologies, such as
short-development iterations, test driven development and refactoring.
13.. Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and
procedures in Agile world
14.. Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by the scrum team
15.. Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
16.. Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task
definition
17.. Must understand the concept of test driven development and continuous
integration
