Position Title : Windows server Admin Location : Minneapolis, MN Duration : 6-9 months
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, and Mathematics, Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent 6 years of industry work experience - 2-4 years of industry experience in a technical profession - Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model, preferred - Ability to work in a highly matrix and geographically diverse business model - Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritized and meets deadlines in timely manner. - Ability to effectively work in a fast paced changing environment - Ability to travel between multiple sites within the Twin Cities (up to 20% of time). - Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. - Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills - Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines Technical Qualifications: - 4-6 years of technical experience with Windows based server operating systems administration in a medium to large completer server environment - 2-4 years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and managing x86-based server systems - Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSE) certification or equivalent experience - Expert knowledge of TCPIP and DNS required - Extensive experience with the current suite of Microsoft System Center tools highly desired - Experience working in a highly virtualized server environment desired - Good working knowledge of Active Directory design & administration desired - DFS/R experience in a large environment desired - Experience with Windows clusters desired - Experience with MS SQL and/or Oracle databases a plus - Experience and familiarity with Unix/Linux administration Required skills: Active Directory 4-6 Yrs.
