*Position: Sr. Java Developer*

required. The Manager may decide to give candidates a coding test when
they attend the in person interview
Keys to this Position
- Strong Core Server Side Java development experience
- Experience working with Oracle
- Experience working with Spring, Hibernate, XML and JDBC
- Experience using Messaging ideally with JMS (IBM MQ, Active MQ
and others will suffice)
- Perl is a big +
- Financial Services is a big +
- Candidates need to be able to take ownership of their work and
to be able to interact with others
- This Position will be working in Marlboro and may require
occasional travel to Boston
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Must have strong experience in both server-side and client-side
development using the required technologies listed above
• Must possess software design and development experience
• Must have strong data analysis and SQL skills
• Must possess the ability and desire to research and resolve issues in a
timely manner
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Experience or education in finance is preferred
Job Description
The successful candidate will join a team of employees and consultants in
providing development and support of a new Alpha Contribution application.
These applications will be created using Java/J2EE and deployed on BEA
(Oracle) WebLogic Server with an Oracle 11g back end. This individual will
be heavily involved with the technical operation of this suite of Java
applications and Oracle components. The individual should possess strong
technical analysis, design and development skills. An ideal candidate
should be effective in formulating and communicating creative ideas and
alternatives for dealing with complex technical challenges.
