The candidate will also work with infrastructure teams and vendors to ensure the best technology and solution is being delivered. Functions and required skills are outlined below. Essential Functions: . With a minimal direction from management and the CSS IT Team, the successful candidate will: . Write technical specs and walkthrough technical specifications and QA planning/execution . Monitor and ensure the development completion working with offshore development teams. . Proficiency in working with heterogeneous and multi-tier technologies . Ensure existence of up to date documentation when the project is completed (e.g. ensure tech specs have been updated to reflect "how built") . Perform code reviews, unit testing, and system connectivity testing . Review BRDs, Functional specs and write technical specifications for CSS AutoSupport processes . Define and develop solutions to enhance J2EE applications for XTERRA, AODS, MAGMA, etc. . Present technical design and write technical specifications document . Bring knowledge of industry specific call home automation Processes . Work with offshore developers and support QA teams to develop tech spec, coding and test planning . Walkthrough and ensure technical specs to are in compliance with functional specifications . Coordinate the technical spec sign-offs and test plans sign-off . Configure Weblogic and JMS Queues and define metadata to support the development . Validate and deliver the system enhancements according the signed-off technical specs . Validate systems connectivity and readiness for QA/UAT execution . Support testing execution and defect resolution . Control the issues and deliverable scope . Enable support site and other peripheral systems test execution . Provide knowledge and support on Apache, Weblogic, and J2EE applications during all phases of the deliverable . Support and coordinate the java application enhancements . Support and coordinate the integration with SAP CRM Job Requirements: . Experience in J2EE and WebLogic is desirable . Experience in messaging systems like JMS, SOA, etc. . Experience with managing huge data files is preferred . Experience in developing UI Apllications, Java batch programs, shell scripting, etc . Experience in developing technical specs for web services or REST services . Experience working with IT Systems that support Customer Support/Technical Service business preferred . 6-8 years of prior experience in a similar role . Able to work independently and within tight timelines . Ability to work collaboratively and work with a team of other business analysts and cross functional peers to meet deadlines .
