Position: Sr. QA Tester Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 months + Need Locals only Responsibilities: • Coordinate and setup Oracle database releases on QA servers. • Work with business analysts, developers and end-users to gather missing product requirements. • Test software releases by validating requirements, performance and data integrity. • Understand and test automated delivery of data updates to client databases. • Test quantitative software that is responsible for querying the data base. • Review requirements and software design to develop test cases and release hand off instructions. • Write SQL queries to validate software functions. • Regression test existing functionality in new releases. • Maintain full traceability between requirements and test cases. • Provide accurate estimates and timely status updates. • Automate manual test cases to increase productivity. • Execute manual and automated test cases. Create detailed defect reports in Jira. • Must be able to overlap until US morning hours.
