*Job Description:*



The candidate is responsible for analysis of business requirements,
identify potential loose ends and get those resolved, and translating those
to technical solution designs and creating underlying Conceptual, Logical,
Physical Models to deliver. The candidate shall additionally need to
support data model management activities on the enterprise level in
adjacent projects, participating in creation of the data quality standards
and data domains.



This individual will be involved with most aspects of design, development,
delivery, maintenance, optimization and expansion of Data Integration and
Delivery, Data Warehouse, Data Marts projects and conversant in ETL or ELT
process design.



This individual will operate as part of a development team, have exposure
to the entire development lifecycle, and perform tasks that will cross the
functional and technical aspects of the project and need to interact with
associated project teams, PMs, leads, architects and offshore teams and
help coordinate and course these along lines of the laid down governance
and architectural policies and wider program progression strategy.



The candidate will also be responsible for technical solution design, and
review build, test & deployment activities for various tools & technology
solutions in the project. This individual should be able to provide
hands-on technical knowledge within the data modeling domain.


*Responsibilities:*   Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Participates on requirements gathering, project estimation and inputs to
management for project delivery management.

•Creation of data models, Data Integration Solution Designs, data mapping,
data dictionaries, metadata repositories and other project artifacts

• Connect with client managers and architects and substantiate how the
envisioned architectural principles and enforced governance policies are
adhered to and implemented in the solution delivery and ensure the team
progresses in that validated path through effective communication.

•Conduct data model and architecture reviews, provide guidance on ETL
process implementation and review of deliverables wrt fitment to
architectural norms and technical solution design.

•Perform analysis and profiling of data

•Creates data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical level for the
different layers of the architecture framework using ERWIN 9.

•Works closely with DBA on the creation DDLs, maintenance and optimization
of database

•Follows and enforces best practices, framework processes, standards and
conventions.



Qualifications:

 Overall greater than 10 years of IT experience, including participation in
at least 2 full cycle mid to large sized Development projects from
requirement analysis to deployment; Expert knowledge of ERWin  Data
Modeling Tool;  Top notch knowledge of the banking industry business
processes, preferably Financial processes around General Ledger and allied
Operation Cycles. Understanding of the data modeling lifecycle for IBM
Banking Data Warehouse Model (BDWM), including practical implementation
experience for General Ledger-related projects shall be useful.



Extensive experience with model management, setting up and supporting model
repositories for easy archiving, management and concurrent retrieval;
Strong experience with impact analysis, data profiling and data mapping;
Practical experience in each of the data modeling main stages. Ability to
independently implement all main data modeling artifacts; Experience with
defining keys and indexing strategy, generate schemas for the physical data
models, Experience with both: enterprise and department level data
modeling;

Very good SQL skills with ability to validate data model functionality and
performance using SQL; Base understanding of the business processes within
financial industry;

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to travel up to 80% of time.

Southern California candidates will be strongly preferred. Close proximity
to Greater Los Angeles Area (Monterey Park) would be ideal. Also would
consider San Diego, CA candidates
