*Role: SQL Server & SSIS with 10+ yrs expns Location : Wayne, NJ * ü least 10 Years of experience in SQL Server & SSIS. ü Hands on Experience in MS SQL Server Integration Services 2005/2008/2012 (SSIS) ü Functional requirements gathering, analysis, designing data model and SSIS packages etc ü Significant development experience in SSIS is preferred. ü Experience in database-related performance tuning. ü Working knowledge in data modeling. ü experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, functions and query optimization). ü Experience in ETL Processing using the MS SSIS packages, the transactional data processing in various formats like flat files, excel files, direct db pull etc. ü Experience in the data extraction, cleansing, transformation, lookups etc using SSIS packages the data then pushed into the data marts or central DB. ü Experience in designing Source & Fact tables. ü Design and development of job control mechanism to control the execution of the packages in sequence. ü Design and creation of the audit and event mechanism. ü Additional responsibilities include tuning the ETL processes, creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes and participate in development and execution of unit and system test plans. ü Installation and configuration of SQL Server 2005, 2008 (Standalone & Cluster Environment) and ensuring all aspect of database maintenances ü Perform Full and Differential backup of database using query ü DB tuning using various tools available in SQL Server. ü Backup and Recovery of the database and restoration of the databases. ü Analysis of locks, isolation levels and index maintenance. ü Hands on experience on Log Shipping, Mirroring Replication & Failover Clustering ü Hands on Experience in SP Upgrade and SQL Upgrade ü MCITP/MCSE certification is an added advantage.
