Position: BI developer/analyst with Sharepoint 2010 Location: Anoka,MN Duration: 18 Months contract Client: Wells Fargo Job Description: This position is for a Microsoft BI Developer to convert existing and create new reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Share Point 2010 Performance Point Services (PPS) in a Share Point 2010 Business Intelligence Portal Environment. Data Sources include iSeries DB2 and SQL Server platforms as well as relational and multi-dimensional databases and OLAP Cubes (SSAS). Responsibilities include working with users and BI team members to determine requirements, providing work estimates, perform data analysis, creation and modification SSRS Reports and PPS Dashboards, create stored procedures and MDX queries for reports and dashboards, tuning SSRS reports and PPS dashboards, verifying output and ensuring data accuracy of reports and dashboards, migrating changes to production, producing documentation, SSRS and SharePoint 2010 process monitoring and problem solving, and knowledge sharing with team members. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years experience combined application/database development/SSRS development; 3+ years experience with MS SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services (SSRS); 1+ years experience with Sharepoint 2010/SSRS integration; 1+ years experience with Share Point 2010 Performance Point Services (PPS); 2+ years experience with ODBC; Able to work effectively in a team environment; detail oriented; strong organization skills; strong written and oral communication skills; self-motivated; good analytical and problem solving skills; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers; strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Access.
