Visa : GC, Citizen, EAD’s only Job Description: Develop and support client’s web site and E-Commerce applications. Responsibilities: Working with business users and other team members to participate in the full life cycle application development, including requirement analysis, design and implementation. Also provide technical support for maintaining existing applications. Solid understanding of the design patterns. It is required to be excellent to use Microsoft Visio, Rational Rose, StarUML, Magic Draw UML design tools to create UML use case, class diagrams, sequence diagrams and Architecture diagrams. Hands-on experience in architecting and developing J2EE based Web Applications (Dhtml, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JMS, JAXB, CSS, Java Script, etc). Required to have strong hands-on experience with AJAX. Required experience in XML, XSD, SOAP/REST, HttpClient, JSON and web services. Expertise in ATG Dynamo, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application servers. Solid knowledge of database technologies in web environment. Is able to write DDL, packages, procedures, functions and triggers for Oracle 10g or higher version. Working knowledge of most of database development/Design tools (SQL Developer, Toad, SQL Designer). Required to have ability to do database design, data modeling and SQL tuning. Hands-on experience with ATG eCommerce Checkout Flow (Credit Card, PayPal, BML, Split Order, Pipeline process, Repricing Engine, Repository, etc.). Working knowledge of Fulfillment Services. Working knowledge of ATG Scenario, Promotion customization and ATG Merchandising. Leadership, self motivation, and ability to work independently and respond proactively. Ability to lead the effort to gather user requirements and transforming them into software applications preferred. Must be able to translate complex business and application requirements into technical architectures and work with internal and external technology resources to manage projects from concept to completion. Working knowledge with ATG Commerce and Shopping Cart required. Experience with open source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, iBatis is desirable. Required to have experience in building architecture, design solutions for high volume transactional web sites.
