Must be extremely familiar with the technical components of X12 standards at a very detailed level. Required 7 Years Experience with understanding and using EDI Implementation Guides (also referred to as TR3s). Required 7 Years Must be able to explain EDI specifications to lesser knowledgeable trading partners (both orally and in writing). Required Experience interacting with internal and external business customers. Oral and written communications are integral to working with BWC’s EDI partners Required 5 Years Also the ability to establish and maintain positive collaborative relationships with team members and external business partners. Required Experience on the IBM mainframe platform. Must be proficient with TSO and mainframe datasets (primarily flat files and partitioned datasets). Required 2 Years Experience with creating, modifying and executing JCL to meet differing testing initiatives. Required 2 Years Experience with X12 transaction testing tools, preferably TIBCO Foresight EDISIM Analyzer. Required 2 Years Experience with navigating an EDI translator, preferably IBM Sterling Gentran:Basic, although Gentran mapping experience is not required. Required 2 Years Experience with IBM File Manager or an equivalent data manipulation tool. Required 1 Years Experience writing test scripts and other required documentation. Required 1 Years Experience using organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word & MS Outlook). Required 1 Years Knowledge of specific X12 transaction sets, listed in the order of importance to BWC: 148, 824, 837, 835, 816, 997 & 276. Desired X12 design experience including using an EDI design tool, preferably TIBCO Foresight EDISIM Standards Editor. Desired EDI mapping/coding experience using IBM Sterling Gentran:Basic. Desired Knowledge of healthcare HIPAA EDI transactions. Desired Knowledge of property and casualty insurance systems. Desired Knowledge of Ohio BWC business model and processes. Desired Ability to quickly adapt to changes, enhancements, and new technologies. Desired Experience using VISIO & Clarity.
