Should possess strong knowledge in Z/OS internals, JES2, CICS and TCP/IP basics. 2. Work experience in SMP/E maintenance process desirable. 3. Strong problem determination and debugging skill set. 4. Must have demonstrated program product experience with the following: RACF,DSF,IDCAMS,RMF,DB2 Utilities,DFSORT,DITTO,QMF,DFDSS,Understand Catalogs structure,REXX 5 Experience with the following Vendor products will be added advantage “Vendor – FDR” “Levi Ray Shoup - DRS, VPS” “SEA - TAPE 2000” “SEA - $AVRS” “Chicago Soft - MVS Quick Ref” “Mackinney Systems - CICS/CEMT” “Compuware – Xpeditor” 6. Control the work flow on the systems through job queues, subsystems and output queues. 7. Hands on experience on user id creation and printer configuration. 8. Experience as a DB2DBA with the following skills: In-depth knowledge of DB2 utilities such as LOAD, UNLOAD, RUNSTAT, REORG, COPY, MERGECOPY, and MODIFY. Should possess strong knowledge and hand-on experience in creating tables, altering the table, creating indexes, GRANT and with performance tuning of SQL’s. Candidate must have excellent communication skills.
