*Job Description:
*Systems programmer responsible for the IBM Z114 mainframe and related
peripheral hardware and software products

1. Should possess strong knowledge in Z/OS internals, JES2, CICS and TCP/IP
basics.
2. Work experience in SMP/E maintenance process desirable.
3. Strong problem determination and debugging skill set.

4. Must have demonstrated program product experience with the following:

RACF,DSF,IDCAMS,RMF,DB2 Utilities,DFSORT,DITTO,QMF,DFDSS,Understand
Catalogs structure,REXX

5 Experience with the following Vendor products will be added advantage

“Vendor – FDR”
“Levi Ray Shoup - DRS, VPS”
“SEA - TAPE 2000”
“SEA - $AVRS”
“Chicago Soft - MVS Quick Ref”
“Mackinney Systems - CICS/CEMT”
“Compuware – Xpeditor”

6. Control the work flow on the systems through job queues, subsystems and
output queues.
7. Hands on experience on user id creation and printer configuration.
8. Experience as a DB2DBA with the following skills:
In-depth knowledge of DB2 utilities such as LOAD, UNLOAD, RUNSTAT, REORG,
COPY, MERGECOPY, and MODIFY.
Should possess strong knowledge and hand-on experience in creating tables,
altering the table, creating indexes, GRANT and with performance tuning of
SQL’s.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills.
Interact and coordinate work with System Administrators, fellow team
members to support various project requests.
