*Position: Solution Architect (Master Data Mgmt)*
*Location: Seattle, WA*
*Duration: 12 Months*

*Role Description:*
*Master Data Mgmt Solution Architect with the following skills. (7+ yrs of
senior level MDM experience)*

*** Role is 75% functional skills against 25% technical skills (both noted
below)***

*Functional Background:*

   - *Master Data Management* for large companies (Telecom industry a
   plus). - Excellent understanding of *MDM *constructs (Identification of* MDM
   elements, MDM architecture, Integration of MDM into CX strategy*.) Must
   have truly led such initiatives and must have at least *3 projects in
   MDM space.*
   - Must be Sr. enough to participate in leadership meetings with other
   project teams and determine impact of other projects on the current *MDM
   project*
   - Must be able to author and translate business requirements into
   functional specifications. *Must point to several exclusive examples of
   where they have done this *(in the context of MDM).*
   - Must be able to help bridge functional requirements to technical
   specifications. Therefore must have a history of technical skills in* Siebel
   UCM specifically.*

*Technical background:*

   - *Siebel UCM (Universal Customer Master)* is a niche solution of Siebel
   specifically aimed at aggregating master data (namely customers and
   products). It is a specific application – so any old Siebel developer will
   not do. Candidates must have multiple implementations of Siebel UCM under
   their belt). *Additional technical skills are:*


   1. *Siebel EIM (Enterprise Integration Manager)*
   2. *Siebel EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) *– This refers
   specifically more recent web services technology whereby the candidate has
   integrated *Siebel UCM* with other applications using web services and
   possibly through middleware. These folks may also have an Oracle Fusion MW
   (or SOA) background – but first and foremost they must know Siebel UCM.
   3. They must have an appreciation of technical data constructs (Typical
   Master data includes multiple definitions of customers and can also include
   suppliers, vendors, partners etc.) Similar divisions for products (Product
   Classes, families, lines, down to sku’s etc.)
   4. Must have solid comm skills and ideally be of “Management consulting”
   origin (ex Big 5 is good)
