Looking for experienced SI B2B Integrator mappers who can provide translation
services from ANSI X12, Tradacoms, EDIFACT, XML to SAP iDocs structure (and
vice versa)
High-Level Requirements:
EDI Analyst/Developer with at least 7 years’ experience who can analyze new EDI
requirements/opportunities, identifies business impact, design, test and
implement new/existing B2B Trading Partners in a SAP ERP system. The candidate
is expected to have a solid understanding of all general EDI concepts and
messaging standards and be able to setup B2B Communications on Sterling B2B
Integrator platform such as VAN, AS2, FTP, SFTP. This position is challenging
so candidates who have a good attitude and are results driven will fit in well.
Specific/Technology Skills:
Knowledge and hands-on mapping and configuration of Sterling B2B Integrator is
essential. Knowledge of Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway,
Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect Direct, PGP and MQSeries is a plus.
Must have excellent Sterling Integrator mapping skills using ANSI X12, EDIFACT
and/or Tradacoms EDI Standards. Should be able to understand and interpret XML.
Must have the ability to translate above standards to SAP iDoc structure.
Must be able to setup AS2, SFTP, FTP communications using Sterling B2B
Integrator.
Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Additional language skills are an advantage.
Should be able to follow the full system development life cycle using Alcon
provided controls and procedures.
Ability to lead small to medium size projects using project management
methodologies is an advantage.
Preferable to have skills in developing SQL stored procedures and queries using
Microsoft SQL or Oracle.
Able to support EDI production issues in timely manner.
Strong and diverse technical skills across multiple platforms and operation
environments (including, but not limited to SAP, Unix and Windows).
Ability to train and direct less experienced staff and consultants.
Education:
Bachelors in relevant technical field (B.Sc, BBA). A Masters degree is a plus
