This position will provide technical specifications, documentation, unit and system testing, environment construction, administration, and troubleshooting of Web environments, and should also have good understanding of J2EE, Web Security concepts and middleware products and following corporate standards and mentor junior administrators.* *JOB FUNCTIONS** :* *· Write detailed documentation, standardize process, lead projects and mentor other administrators to follow.* *· Troubleshoot infrastructure problems and propose optimal resolutions.* *· Assess capacity needs and provide customer service in an advisory role.* *· Provide guidance and training to peers and to administrators at lower levels.* *· Demonstrated knowledge of multiple operating system platforms (Solaris, AIX, zLinux and Windows).* *· Demonstrated WebSphere Application Server experience (on multiple versions) including: clustering and highly available environments and analysis of container performance, tuning the Java Container and help UNIX/Windows administrators to tune the operating systems, detailed log analysis and capacity management.* *· Knowledge of web application development processes, languages, and tools (Java and VB scripts, COM+ and .NET applications, Java Virtual Machines, EJB containers, Hibernate, XML schema, IBM Rational Tools) and middleware product like Message Broker, Messaging Queue and Web Methods.* *· Experience with web servers (including Apache and IHS), configuring and administering WebSphere plug-ins.* *· Capable of performing detailed unit, system and integration testing and performance tuning and optimization of system and applications.* *· Provide on-call support as required. This may require evening and weekend work.* *· Develop and perform presentations and perform technical training when ecessary.* *· Extensive experience with three tier enterprise web environment, enterprise change control, SOX requirements pertaining to change control and promotion from development, QA, staging, and production environments.* *· Experience with encryption methodologies for SSL-enabled web applications.
