Location: Houston, TX Job Duties a.. Review requirements and prepare test plan b.. Design, build & review test scripts, test data for testing c.. Execute testcases and perform functional, regression, compatibility, UI testing. d.. Use HP ALM for creating, executing testcases e.. Defect management using ALM f.. Ensure thorough testing is conducted on the software. g.. Execution of test plan by tracking, reporting and monitoring the testing activities. Knowledge and Skills Required: Required Qualifications a.. 3+ years' experience in software testing b.. Good experience of manual testing throughout the testing life cycle (test plan creation, test case development/review, test execution, defect logging/reporting including metrics, Requirements Traceability Matrix, defect tracking and resolution). c.. Experience of using tools such as QC, ALM for test planning and defect management d.. Hands on with Test Design, Test Scheduling, Test Execution and defect tracking/resolution and metrics e.. Strong knowledge on PL/SQL, Unix f.. Hands on with Test Design, Test Scheduling, Test Execution and defect tracking/resolution and metrics a.. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
