*Job Title: Lead Siebel DeveloperLocation :Indianapolis,INDuration:6+months*

*EAD GC, GC AND US Citizen.*

*The Siebel Lead Developer is responsible for designing, documenting,
developing, enhancing and supporting company initiatives including the
customer master, which utilizes Siebel UCM. The creation, documentation,
and maintenance of standards and patterns will also fall under this role,
along with technical leadership of contract and shared resources.*



*Responsibilities/Duties:Translate business and functional requirements
into documented technical specifications including design documents and
unit test plans.Utilize development skills to build and unit test new
systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to
include code builds and documented unit test results.*





*Provide technical leadership/direction to contract developers and
part-time team members.Assist with application support documentation
(release notes, build instructions) as required by the application support
teams for acceptance of changes into production.Assist with
troubleshooting, triaging and resolving issues discovered during QAT/UAT
(testing phases).Act as primary technical SME to provide technical input
and estimates as necessary for new project requests, change requests, and
production issues.Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical
specifications and program code with other members of the technical team,
communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and
limitations of systems/applications to team and development lead.*





*Utilize departmental Systems Development Lifecycle Methodology as a guide
for development activities.Provide on call and after hours support as
required for production releases and to respond and provide Tier 1 support
on production outages.Contribute to and work to meet project schedules by
providing accurate estimates of effort required for development
deliverables, by providing updates on project progress to development and
project management, and by escalating issues that might affect project
success to management.Maintain technical skills and expertise through
continuing education and training.Collaborate with other teams and team
members, both internal and external, including 3rd party vendors, quality
and performance testing, change management, business analysts, project
management, technical services, and support on successful delivery of
systems and system enhancements.*






*Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or an equivalent 3- 7 years of demonstrated
expertise in Siebel/Siebel UCM (UCM 8.x preferred, certification preferred
but not required)Advanced level proficiency in Siebel Configuration
(Business Components, Integration Objects, Views, Applets, etc) and eScript
(Business Services)Expertise in Siebel EAI (http/s web services, XML,
etc.), EIM and WorkflowExpertise in the underlying Siebel (PARTY) data
model*


*Experience with PL/SQL, T-SQL, and performance tuningExperience with
creating and maintaining Survivorship Rules*


*Software development lifecycle experienceExcellent communication and
interpersonal skills*



*Effective problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to work
independently as well as with a team Experience with MS Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)*
