Responsibility -- Working in this team, your primary role will be as a
web/app developer; however, you'll be expected to wear more than one hat.
1. Develop web applications, REST services, APIs and tools using Java.
2. Build UIs using JavaFX, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, AJAX, HTML and CSS
3. Develop scripts using Python, PERL, Java, etc.
4. Work collaboratively with teammates on projects.
5. Using your development skills, analyze projects to determine how
you can help the support the customer.
6. Help maintain and troubleshoot issues with existing applications.
You'll need to work in a team-based environment while able to drive
results independently, maintaining priorities and awareness of project
deadlines.
*Work experience & skills (Mandatory) Essential :*
6 years of IT industry experience in software development.
At least 3+ years of experience and expertise in web app development.
1. Working knowledge of commonly used design patterns and REST
(JSON/XML).
2. 3+ years of development experience and expertise in scripting and
web development.
3. Knowledge of the following languages: Java, Python, HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, jQuery.
4. General knowledge and proficiency in systems administration (*NIX).
5. SQL experience in a MySQL and MSSQL environment.
6. Hibernate or other ORM mapping.
7. Web UI/Design knowledge with knowledge of Industry UX standards.
8. Working Knowledge of directory services including Active
Directory, LDAP, H.350 and Open LDAP.
9. Working Knowledge of networking protocols including ssh, telnet,
sip etc.
10. Team player with can do attitude.
11. Should be a quick learner and self-starter.
*Desirable*
1. Experience with Unified Communications and Video technologies
(Desired)
2. Web Service (SOAP/REST/JSON) development.
3. Experience with Spring MVC, Play! or other equivalent framework.
4. Experience with Bootstrap
5. Experience with Swing and JavaFX development.
6. Experience with networked storage and virtualized environments.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
