Location: Richardson, TX Seeking a Senior engineer to drive Design and Development of Bluetooth Technology for Cisco Collaboration Endpoints. The ideal candidate provides a good understanding of bluetooth stack. Specific requirements: • Good working knowledge of short distance wireless communication technologies like Bluetooth, Bluetooth Profiles, Bluetooth Low Energy/BT4.0. • Good Understanding of BlueZ, Open NFC, Android Bluetooth. • Good working knowledge in embedded Linux environment with deep exposure to debugging, analysis of complex problems. • Good working knowledge of Android and Linux Infrastructure development • Good understanding of peripheral interfaces such UART, SPI, SDIO, I2C, GPIO. • Strong programming skills with C and Java languages. • 8 years of industry experience. • Good understanding of Software development processes like Agile and Test Driven Development General Requirements: • Demonstrated system level design and debugging abilities on multiple projects. • Perform design and write detailed design specifications. • Independent, proactive and influential, with very good communication skills • Great team player and quick learner with commitment to quality and dedication to long term success • Motivated self-starter with good communication and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver superior products in a cross-functional team environment under aggressive schedules.
