 The Senior Collaborations Administrator is responsible for
effective provisioning, installation/configuration, daily operation,
and maintenance of all Windows server hardware and software and related to
the enterprise collaboration infrastructure. This individual participates
in technical research, development and testing to enable continuing
innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system
hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures
adhere to organizational standards.  This job also operates as a subject
matter expert and may be the escalation point for issue resolution and
customer escalations.  The resource will be primarily focused on MS
SharePoint, Windows Server, services and may also include messaging and MDM
(mobile device management) infrastructure and services.
*Basic Qualifications:*
•        5+ years’ experience administering and strong understanding
architecture of  MS SharePoint 2007/2010
·         5+ years’ experience administering MS Windows Server environments
2003/2008r2 including Active Sync, clustering, Group Policies, Active
Directory, monitoring, backup and recovery, advanced configuration,
anti-virus and anti-malware software, email gateways, SAN storage and
network routing.
·         5+ years’ experience with server monitoring tools
·         3-5 years’ experience administering MS Exchange 2007/2010
*Preferred Skills:*
·         CCEA
·         MCSE/ Messaging certification
·         2+ years VMware-ESX operational experience
·         Experience in healthcare information technology
·         Cisco UCS Server platform experience a plus

*Responsibilities:*
•        Coordinates all maintenance activities for hardware and software,
including testing and scheduling for maintenance periods in regards to MS
SharePoint and other messaging systems, spanning multiple sites.
•        Responsible for system performance and capacity.
•        Monitor collaborations environment for anomalies and errors,
reporting and escalation of issues.
•        Provide the required daily support, maintenance, and management of
the platforms.
•         Forecasts system demands and recommends upgrades, expansions and
reconfigurations.
•        Develops mitigation strategies when vulnerabilities cannot be
remediated.
•        Performs analysis of new projects to determine if new SharePoint
farms are required or if existing infrastructure could support new
application.
•        Designs new SharePoint farms and identifies & requests supporting
services (SQL, AD or other authentication, monitoring, backup) as required.
•        Able to work in a cloud based environment
•        Provide Level III support and repair, as well as escalation to the
IT Development and Executive Management Team.
•        Develops and submits change requests and tracks to completion for
software upgrades and patches.
•        Develops technical architecture documentation that details
procedures for installation, maintenance, security, configuration, and
disaster recovery/ business continuity.
•        Develop and maintain high standards in establishing procedures and
policies to address routine jobs and certain resolution protocols. Meet or
exceed SLA obligations consistently and on an ongoing basis, allow for
accurate metrics to measure response time, meet BCP requirements for
offsite access, and reduce the time needed to address hardware/software
failures.
•        Provide 24x7 On-call Escalation Support (rotation-based).
