*Please find the JDs as below if you are comfortable for any of the position, please send me your updated Resume with expected billing rate asap.* *SolarWinds Administration (Sr. and Mid Level position)* *Duration : Long Term* *Location : Englewood, CO* *Position # : 2* *Interview : Telephonic Hire* *Responsibilities:* · Add, change, and remove devices from SolarWinds inventory Responsible for Adding, changing, and removing network devices monitoring from SolarWinds inventory and troubleshooting issues · Add or change alerts in SOLARWINDS · Add or change maps in Orion Network Atlas · Review incoming traps and syslog, and convert into alerts · Use SolarWinds data (event list, reports, node details) to investigate issues with monitoring and identify why an alert did or did not trigger · Create standard reports using the report tool · Create custom reports using custom SQL queries inserted into the reporting tool · Update node, interface and volume details in the custom property tool · Research SNMP MIBs and accurately create new UnDP monitors for custom OID values · Provide weekly & monthly report to client · Participating in outage/problem management activities · Provide SolarWinds support across technical teams, business lines and application teams · Creating Distributed Application monitoring · Provide Trend Analysis and recommendation for SolarWindsenvironment · SolarWinds Architecture designing & propose recommendation · SolarWinds Application and Database sizing · Documentation v Skill Requirements: Essential Skills: · *SolarWinds** L3 Administration with strong experience implementing SolarWinds 10.2.3* · Strong Knowledge of SolarWinds Orion APM and NPM software, ssh, WMI, Perfmon · Strong knowledge of SNMP, WMI, perfmon, syslog etc. · Good Knowledge on integration of SolarWinds and third-party tools for event forwarding and auto-ticketing. · Knowledge and familiarity with Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL database internals and architecture or experience with supporting database administration. · Very good understanding of ITIL process framework; ITIL Foundation certification preferred. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing, presentation and relationship skills · Builds positive working relationships and works collaboratively with other team members · Experience in a large corporate environment · Self-starter and ability to work independently · Desired Skills: · Experience with general scripting know how- WMI, VBS, SQL, Power shell v Experience Required: · 5 years + experience in SolarWinds Administration/implementation and upgrade · Experience on SNMP, WMI, perfmon, syslog, · Experience on scripting · Knowledge and experience supporting one of the following databases (Oracle, Sybase or MSSQL).
