Title: .Net Technical Support Engineer posted on 2014-01-06 11:46:35 Job Description:*Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* - Responsible for providing technical support coverage during hours assigned - Develop corrections/enhancements to the Client’s Field Service Management product lines - Provide deliverables of high quality to clients which include reliability, completeness, accuracy along with full satisfaction of the targeted business needs - Provide updates on all in Client’s Field Service Management Client Database - Verify customer issues in the Client’s Field Service Management product lines - Provide a knowledge base to internal and external customers on Client’s Field Service Management product lines - Provide accurate problem descriptions, with all necessary support documentation for inter-department triage of client issues - Escalate issues as needed to Application Support Manager - Work as a team to meet contractual support requirements - Have good cross department communication and relationships - Provide resolution of support issues by having a strong understanding of the Client’s Field Service Management Application Suite - Assist in the retention of support contracts by offering superior customer support experience - Assist in the education of clients on the Client’s Field Service Management application suite and development tools - Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: *Skills Required:* - Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills - Experience developing and supporting mobile applications in a handheld and tablet environment - Strong understanding of XML, ASP.net, Microsoft.net 4.0 framework, and C# - Experience in Android development using Eclipse, Java and JSON - SQL skills, preferably both Oracle and SQL Server - Experience in integrations between systems (BizTalk, SeeBeyond, etc) - Ability to comprehend written and verbal communications and the ability to translate concepts into “layman” terms for technical concepts - Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers - Present a professional image to the customer - Manage time and set priorities for tasks - Understand the functionality of Client’s Field Service Management software applications, in context of client usage - Demonstrate a professional attitude - Contribute to a positive work environment - Practice effective self-management *Education and/or Experience:* - BBA in MIS or BS in Computer Science with software development emphasis or equivalent work experience. - Two years of experience required with .net technologies - Experience in Field Service, Logistics and/or Repair Center a plus. *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume* Full Name: Degree Major: Total experience as a Technical Support Engineer: Total experience with ASP.NET: Total experience with C#: Total experience with Eclipse, Java or JSON: Do you have experience with SQL Server or Oracle?
