IA Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position In person interview only Iowa Collections and Reporting (ICAR) is seeking one senior IT developer with at least 8 years of experience in developing, testing, deploying and supporting applications in a web/SQL Server environment. ICAR primarily serves the Child Support Recovery Unit (CSRU) and is one of the bureaus under the DHS Divisions of Data Management. This senior IT developer will function within a team of dedicated web developers. Responsibilities include: 1. Serve as a Technical lead on projects from concept through the post-implementation stage of the Software Development Life Cycle. 2. Serve as a Programmer/Developer on projects lead by other Technical resources 3. Work on New Development, Maintenance Projects, Testing, Requirements/Specifications creation, Problem Logs etc., Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Significant hands-on programming experience with ASP.net, VB.net, Object Oriented programming, Visual Studio Team Edition, Team Foundation Server Required 8 Years Significant hands-on programming experience with .Net Framework 2.0 and above, JAVA Script, jQuery, JASON, VB Script, Web Services, and XML Required 8 Years Significant hands-on programming experience with application development within a Service Oriented Architecture. Required 8 Years Strong T-SQL skills with extensive query and stored procedure development with SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 8 Years SQL Database design/development. Required 5 Years Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 5 Years Extensive experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above. Required 5 Years Lead developer experience. The ability to provide direction and mentoring to other developers on a project using the tools described above. Required 3 Years Ability to work in a team environment and experience with Microsoft Office products. Required 8 Years Ability to transform business requirements through functional/technical analysis into technical specifications and design; Required 8 Years Ability to build application programs based on technical specifications, test and implement systems Required 8 Years Ability to support the SDLC process through post-implementation Support. Required 8 Years Ability to perform Web/SQL development tasks relating to the support, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing applications. Required 8 Years Good verbal & written communication. Ability to logically analyze complex processes & programs. Required 8 Years Ability to understand business processes & to be customer focused. Experience working in both traditional and agile development environments. Required 8 Years Demonstrated ability to perform development tasks in the above areas is required.
