*Job Description*

·         The candidate will oversee performance testing for a web-based
Care Management application, including benchmarking and design, performance
testing, diagnostics, and tuning prior to go live, as well as monitoring
and tuning efforts post Go Live.
·         Individual will develop a comprehensive Performance Test Plan and
execute all aspects of the plan.
·         Collaborate with the project team to identify critical business
processes and key application transactions to define performance
requirements
·         Investigates potential performance acceleration solutions
available in the market
·         Coordinates all aspects of test design, planning, and execution
with product vendor and service providers
·         Works with product vendor to set performance oriented SLA's,
·         Sets up processes to test application performance
·         Conducts Analysis of Testing Results and recommends solutions for
software and infrastructure tuning.
·         Works with the business team to set expectations and establish
key performance benchmarks to use in end user communications.
·         Sets up processes to monitor application performance on a regular
basis and take remedial actions.
·         Develops status reports and communicates appropriate level of
detail on testing, results, and issues to team members and senior
management
*Requirements *
·         Must be able to design and implement a life-cycle approach to
Application Performance Testing (pre-deployment) and Monitoring (post
deployment)
·         Advanced Performance Engineering and Testing skills required to
test distributed applications across multi-tiered platforms
·         Expertise in performance analysis , diagnostics, and tuning
·         Expertise in testing protocols
·         Candidate will have expertise in the following Performance
testing tools:
o    IBM Performance Tester, IBM Rational Performance Tester
o    HP LoadRunner
·         Strong project management skills required to coordinate timelines
and efforts with the overall project team to ensure Performance Management
deliverables are met
·         Excellent communication skills are necessary to successfully
interface and communicate with strategic service providers, vendors and
senior management
Experience implementing testing methodologies in large, complex,
diversified  organizations
