**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
This role is part of a 3 year development, implementation and support
project of a core insurance solution, integrating a large number of
existing systems and data interfaces.
The Reporting Business Objects Developer responsibilities include, but
are not limited to:
. Perform hands-on report development and testing
. Support the analysis of various data source systems
. Support requirements definition and contribute to documentation of
project and system documentation
. Support report development and testing estimates based on
requirements and data analysis
. Support data modelling and interface design
. Support designs, test plans and code to ensure high levels of
performance, data quality, and maintainability
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
Required
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
related field
. 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence
. Experience implementing technical designs and unit test plans
. Experience implementing report design techniques to support high
volume query techniques
. Deep understanding of relational database concepts
(dimensional/snowflake)
. 3+ years of experience with Business Objects Universe Designer and
Web Intelligence 3.x
. 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2008
. Proficient with SQL and query optimization
. Experience operating within strict processes and controls for
deployments to multiple environments
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
. Ability to form durable, flexible work relationships
. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
**Preferred**
. Expert in data modeling
. Experience with TFS, Jira or other version control frameworks
. Experience with Scrum
. Experience working with global development teams
. Experience with Guidewire or other insurance systems
