Role: Technical Business Analyst
Duration: Min 4 Months (Can go long term if the candidate is right fit)
Location: Vernon Hills, IL (Candidate MUST be LOCAL to IL)

Key skills: knowledge of BMC Remedy solutions and data management project work

Summary: Analyze business processes. Identify, evaluate, develop
and/or redesign systems and procedures to meet user requirements.
Create detailed written user requirements for incorporation into
Global IT Asset Management program. Assist in the development of
program documentation and training materials as well as training
processes. Maintenance of asset management data in Remedy system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Own key tasks, demonstrate
solid business knowledge, require moderate direction, give minimal
guidance to others, handle moderately complex problems, and provide
support to Global IT Asset Management policy and processes.

1) Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications
and requirements for the management of IT assets globally.

2) Management of data in the Asset module of Remedy to include the
creation of configuration items, drive consistency of data, and
coordinate data management across partner IT teams, regions, and
businesses.

3) Define, design, and document business flows and processes related
to IT asset management processes, related processes, and integration
points.

4) Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and
consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Act as the
primary contact for the data management process.

5) Provide end-user support on Remedy Asset Management system.

6) Identify, analyze, propose and document appropriate solutions for
problems and issues that may impact the program. Identify and
understand issues that may impact day-to-day operations and/or project
costs. Use technical tools for (queries, process maps, etc) for
problem resolution.

7) Update and maintain product catalog including the normalization of
data mapping for integrations and discovery tools.

8) Communicate status, solutions and concerns. Disseminate information
in a timely manner within the team and across functions or teams.
Establish and maintain relationships within the business or function.

9) Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop business
system and process alternatives.

10) Lead small / medium project as needed.

Qualifications: Solid knowledge of the BMC Remedy Asset/Contract
Management system. Strong communication skills
(verbal/written/listening). Solid business knowledge. Sense of urgency
with strong follow-up skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to
work within a team setting.
