*Dev/Ops Engineer (Linux)Location : Alpharetta, GANeed local only/-Job Description:*As an Edge Resource Manager (ERM) team engineer, you will work with a geographically distributed team (China, India, and US) on Edge Resource Management software. This software is deployed at MSO's around the world and provides management of edge devices to transport video services to millions of subscribers. The working environment is highly dynamic and fast paced. Work closely with architects and developers for debugging and trouble-shooting complex system that interact with components (software and hardware) developed by other teams or vendors. Create custom RPM packages, identify missing parts and utilize Perl scripting to implement changes on all platforms. Support internal and external customers for system level issues such as configuration, installation and engaging development when needed. Understanding of communications protocols.
