*Rate: $50/hr on C2C* *We have a another requirement for a Linux/Apache/Python System Administrator for our client in NY. Please find below the Job Description for the same.* *System Administrator to provide server administration in both Linux and Windows environments. * *Responsibilities:* *· Contribute to the design, construction, documentation and maintenance of production infrastructure.* *· Roll out new servers and services using documented procedures. * *· Work with application developers to identify and fix application bottlenecks and failures in a highly available environment.* *· Provide 24/7 support for the production environment.* *· Support all internal applications running on Linux and FreeBSD systems.* *Requirements:* *· 5+ years' experience as a Systems Administrator.* *· Proven experience in a 24x7 web operations environment.* *· Experience with Python and Bash scripting.* *· Experience with virtualization and virtualization management (VMware, AWS, FreeBSD Jails and Openvz containers).* *· Experience with deploying, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Apache HTTPD, Python Django + WSGI + MySQL.* *· Knowledge of deployment and configuration management systems (Puppet, Rundeck).* *· Candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
