*Please Reply to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Quality Assurance Engineer* The QA Engineer will be part of a Customer Engineering QA team, focused on testing the scalability, stability, and interoperability of a Flash Memory Array. This position will involve setting up testing environments, planning for new equipment utilization, debugging host/storage issues, and testing multiple releases. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work with both other QA engineers as well as development engineers on a wide array of technical issues. *Responsibilities:* - Test interoperability of a Flash Memory array with multiple supported host server platforms, protocols and switches - Debug interoperability issues at array, switch and host levels - Setup and test typical customer environments with a Flash Memory Array - Setup typical customer applications and workloads in conjunction with testing the array - Reproduce and debug customer issues and assist in resolution - Plan for and setup new servers, SAN switches, appliances and storage arrays - Setup test environments as required for test execution - Author customer facing documentation as needed *Skills:* - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or the equivalent - Highly motivated, self-directed and able to work under aggressive schedules - Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of typical customer data storage environments, FC, iSCSI or IB in particular - Deep knowledge in at least one host operating system - Previous experience working with storage arrays, SAN administration and/or FC switches - Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent - Excellent organization, time management and problem solving skills *Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Platform Testing* In this role, the Sr. QA Engineer will focus on core feature testing of a Flash Memory Array. The Engineer will be responsible for reviewing detailed functional specifications, designing test plans and test cases, and executing to the plan, filing defects and verifying fixes during each release test cycle. The Engineer will work with other members of the platform software QA team, providing technical guidance as needed and participate in broader testing efforts intended to verify and improve the overall quality of the product.
