Title: Senior UI .Net Developer Duration: 12+ months Location: Broomfield, CO Contract – Must be EAD, GC or Citizen Job Responsibilities: We are looking for a UI/UX expert with capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experience and interface. Act as a user interface and experience designer on major project engagements. Actively engage in design team execution, serve as key point of contact for the client, envision incredible user experiences, and lead productive, creative sessions amongst internal/external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. Key responsibilities: • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team for user experience and interface planning & development • Responsible for the execution of strong interaction design & visual design principles • Facilitating dialog around end-user requirements and business requirements • Guiding clients through key design engagements • Performing user research • Driving innovative solutions within platform constraints & technical limitations • Developing interaction models and conceptual frameworks of experience • UI implementation and development • Researching interaction design trends • Researching technology trends • Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills required for competency: • .NET (ASP.Net / C#) • 5 or more years experience directly related to user experience design for software, web applications which leverage emergent technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices. • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability. • Exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail. • Strong experience with multiple web services implementation protocols including REST and SOAP. • Extensive experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms. • Graphic design experience including layout, illustration, and imaging expertise. • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and associated design tools. • Proficient at creating wireframes and lo- or hi-fidelity mockups. • Ability to rapidly prototype to demonstrate layout and interactions. • UI Development experience with ability to solve business problems through creative and forward-looking solutions. • Strong understanding of common software development practices. • Experience facilitating usability testing, leading focus groups, conducting polls/questionnaires, and performing analysis of the results. • Skilled at providing help documentation targeted to an audience of varying proficiency. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong client facing presentation and communication skills. • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interaction Design, New Media Design, Industrial Design, HCI, Human Factors/Ergonomics, Computer Science or related field. • 10+ years of industry experience Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
