*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
This role is part of a 3 year development, implementation and support
project of a core insurance solution, integrating a large number of
existing systems and data interfaces. This is a full time role and will
be based in Atlanta.
The Reporting Lead Report Developer responsibilities include, but are
not limited to:
·Serve as an interface between the developers and management
·Research andanalyzevarious data source systems
·Support requirements definition and contribute to documentation of
project and system documentation
·Provide report design, development and testing estimates based on
requirements and data analysis
·Perform data modeling and interface design
·Lead the tasks of the report development team
·Review designs, test plans and code to ensure high levels of
performance, data quality, and maintainability
·Perform hands-on report design, development and testing
·Serve as a mentor <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mentor>for report
developers
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
*Required*
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or
related field
·5+ years of experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
·5+ years of experience in data warehouse architecture
·Experience providing technical designs, code reviews, test
plans/results review
·Experience with report design techniques to support high volume query
techniques
·Deep understanding of relational database concepts (dimensional/snowflake)
·Experience leading development teams
·5+ years of experience with Business Objects and Cognos
·Experience with data quality and profiling methodologies and tools
·Proficient with SQL and query optimization
·Expert in data modeling
·Specific experience with Netezza and SQL Server
·Experience with TFS, Jira or other version control frameworks
·Experience operating within strict processes and controls for
deployments to multiple environments
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
·Ability to form durable, flexible work relationships
·Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

·Experience with Guidewire or other insurance systems
·Experience with Scrum
·Experience working with global development teams
