Please respond with your resume in MS WORD format along with contact details, rate and visa status to *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Oracle EBS Tester* *Location: Bay area, CA* *Duration: 6 months* The *Oracle* E-Business Suite (*EBS*) Quality Assurance Analyst will work in a diverse and dynamic environment with a team of developers, DBA's, business analysts, end users and QA Analysts. He/she will be responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and executing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems. The role requires understanding the business requirements and developing test plans that ensure every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the project goes live and provides support after project goes live. This position should possess functional and business domain knowledge to ensure *OracleEBS* solutions for Order to Cash, Inventory and Procure to Pay functions are tested thoroughly to meet business requirements. · Must write test cases based on business requirements and design specifications · Must be able to log quality bugs with proper reproduction scenarios and clear root-cause analysis · Must have exposure to writing and executing of test cases and logging of defects · Work with the development team to document, root cause, and resolve outstanding bugs · May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. · Uses advanced knowledge of application to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems. Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. · May plan and direct quality assurance schedules and assignments on projects, and may monitor project status in comparison to cost/time projections. · Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of *QA* process. · Actively perform root cause analysis to refine processes · Write and review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (*QA*) test scripts · Pursue innovative ways to improve the process of delivering testing solutions for *Oracle* E-Business functionality · Perform UAT cycles with business users and guide them through the process of testing steps · Must be able to test custom processes within the application and process that integrate with 3rd party systems like e-commerce websites, warehouse systems, tax solutions etc. *Work experience & skills (Mandatory) · 5 or more years of experience in testing for *Oracle*Order to Cash, Inventory and Procure to Pay modules.
