Title: *DB2 DBA* Duration: 12+ months Location : Wayne, NJ *Role DB2 DBA* *Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills * • 3+ years experience with good knowledge of DB2 version 9.1 on the z/O platform • Must have worked on Mainframe TSO & ISPF experience, Experience of mainframe test and development environments, JCL coding,REXX • Must have experience with large to very large databases in the 10TB and larger range. • Candidate should be familiar with DB2 utilities and how to trouble-shoot using IBM DB2 and AIX commands. • Proficiency in the use of DB2 Object migration, management and monitoring tools • Effective utilization and monitoring of DB2 storage and experience in capacity planning • Working experience with Database logical and physical design concepts and techniques • Database Definition Language (DDL) • Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools *Roles and responsibility * • Incident and Service Desk request management. • Interacting with customer and focus on discovering customer needs and finding out how to best meet them. • Ability to prioritize tasks, execute them by complying to processes and towards timely completion.
