Position: QA Lead (HP Quality Center) Location: New York City, NY Term: 7+ months contract Experience: Years of Experience Necessary: 10 years - Expert level proficiency in HP QC is mandatory, Certification is preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, including but not limited to: - Creating test strategy - Generating test data - Creating Test Plans and Scripts - Defect Reporting - Data Manipulation Language (DML) skills and experience is desired. - Experience with other testing tools from HP like QTP, Performance Center. - Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data. - Self-motivated, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision. - Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization. Preferred Skills and Training: - Quality Center Admin Capability - Industry Training: ASTQB, QAI, ASQ Deliverables: HP QC Lead and Management (MUST HAVE ADVANCED EXPERIENCE) Creating test strategy, test plans and scripts Defect Reporting Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data Essential Functions: - Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of HP Quality Center and DVO. The responsibility includes providing training to QC users. The responsibility also includes creation of defect metrics and implementing the best practices for requirement traceability. - Assist test team in the development of all testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and defect reports.
