*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Develope Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position The Advanced Applications Developer will provide expert PL/SQL support to the Application Maintenance Services (AMS) Team currently staffed with both DEP staff and other consultants. Specific duties are outlined below in the task list. Tasks: • Assisting developers, analysts and designers in the maintenance of software programs and applications, primarily focused on Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms development involving several significant enhancements to the Division of Waste Management’s Storage Tank & Contamination Monitoring (STCM) system • Performing application refactoring and migration for Classic ASP applications that are transitioning to the Windows 2012 Server environment • Provide ongoing support for applications that support the Department’s permitting, compliance and enforcement activities. • Assisting in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications • Research and document requirements of program users • Writing, translating and coding software programs and applications according to specifications. • Assisting in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines. • Working with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. • Providing mentoring and guidance to junior programmers Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): Required: 7+ years’ experience in the following technologies: *• Oracle PL/SQL• Oracle Forms• Classic ASP* Additional Required KSAs: Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design/specifications and assigned application software systems Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
