*Title: Imperva Administrator* *Location*: Boston or NYC
*Contract Duration*: 6+ mos. The Imperva Administrator is a member of the Technology Application Services team responsible for the care and maintenance of the Imperva SecureSphere installation. In accordance with the IT strategy, the administrator maintains current or near current levels of software, patches, features, and configurations for the system. In addition, the team provides support as the IT systems are extended to users in new locations and works with users to insure the highest level of management and monitoring standards are adhered to in our operating environments. *This OEM Administrator will: * • Manage day to day activities of the Imperva operating environments, validating health of Imperva appliances and that jobs are running as expected • Plan and apply Imperva patches as needed. • Plan and upgrade Imperva to higher releases. • Partner with technical and vendor contacts to discuss requirements for and review proposals for new solutions utilizing Imperva’s SecureSphere. • Develop, validate, and improve high availability plan for Imperva • Work with CIS teams to identify, design, and implement new database or web security events, security policies, and reports for security or audit purposes • Work with operations teams to identify, design, and implement new database security events, security policies, and reports for audit purposes • Work with capacity team to identify, design, and implement new database or web performance-related events or reports for capacity purposes • Work with compliance team to identify, design, and implement new database security events, security policies, and reports for security, audit, or compliance purposes • Troubleshoot issues with traffic capture, event generation, report generation, event transmission to Splunk, or any other issues which may be present • Work with application and operation teams to deploy agents on all production DB platforms • Work with networking team to ensure Imperva is receiving necessary network traffic • Work with Imperva Support to facilitate analysis of and resolution to technical issues. • Serve as expert Imperva advisor • Perform other general Imperva administration • Cross-train team members on Imperva *QUALIFICATIONS* • 8+ years overall with 3+ years current (as in now) experience in working with Imperva’s SecureSphere. • Strong knowledge of database technologies, i.e. Oracle, Sybase, SQL- Server • Solid understanding of networking as it applies to the Imperva technology • Able to troubleshoot technical issues in a Solaris, Linux and Windows environment • Solid understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management * Personal Attributes*: • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Good presentation and interpersonal skills. • Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products. • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. • Strong ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. -- *HARISH REDDY* IT Recruiter [email protected] | Desk: 703-349-2764| Osair Technologies LLC Fax 732-289-6076 | 12642, Clifton, VA-20124| [image: linkdin symbol]<http://in.linkedin.com/pub/hareesh-reddy/75/67/968/> <http://in.linkedin.com/in/saikrishna2/> [image: logo] <http://www.osairtech.com/> Experience the Excellence... *P *Please consider the environment before printing this e-mail! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
